Film for Plate Making Overview

Inkjet plate making is the use of digital inkjet plate-making film, with high precision inkjet printer, RIP plate-making software will be assembled on the large version of the file transferred to the printer and recorded on the plate-making film.

Positive film is used in Positive Platemaking and conventional printing plate production. The positive film is used as the original with the blackened sections of the film correspond to the ink-accepting surface elements on the plate.

Negative Film is used in Negative Platemaking and negative printing plate production. The negative film is used as the original with the ink-accepting image areas of the printing plate correspond to the translucent, light areas on the film. The light-sensitive coating is hardened on the printing plate by light, so that it stays in place after the developing process, as opposed to the unexposed areas that are removed.

Inkjet Color Separation Film

Inkjet color separation film is of high quality and high density Polyester based (PET) film for plate making and silk screen printing. With milky transparency, waterproof, special micro porous top coating, and compatible well with pigment and dye ink features, it works perfect with various inkjet printers.

Clear Laser Film

The clear laser Film is adopting the latest advanced coating technology, produced based on super PET material.
